Metallic Expansion Joints can be manufactured with various Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloy and Titanium Materials.  Our Expansion Joints are designed to EJMA and ASME standards. Our engineers are ready to assist you in choosing an Expansion Joint design that is optimum, as well as economical. Vibrant Power Inc. has designed and supplied all types of Expansion Joints from small exhaust connectors to huge turbine crossovers, many with all types of external hardware and/or refractory linings.  Some examples of the types of Expansion Joints are single, universal, tied, hinged, gimbaled, and pressure balanced.

Rubber (Elastomeric) Expansion Joints can be manufactured with a variety of Elastomers and varying reinforcements depending on the Pressure Ratings. They provide a wide range of movement in either single or multiple arch type constructions. Rubber Expansion Joints isolate noise and vibration from various types of equipment and can be PTFE lined for additional chemical resistance. Rubber Expansion Joints can provide for controlled movement, while reducing noise and vibration. They provide great protection to a piping system from damage due to vibration and movement. Rubber Expansion Joints are designed and manufactured to CSA Z299.3 Quality Program Standards.

Fabric Expansion Joints offer superior flexibility in handling large thermal movements, in a relatively short space. They are excellent for vibration isolation and also help reduce mechanical noise transmission. Fabric Expansion Joints are available in various material and designs with no real size restrictions. Expansion Joints can be supplied with appropriate metal work (such as angles, baffles and retaining bars) for ease of installation at site.

Annular Corrugated Metal Hose is engineered to provide solutions to pipe motion problems involving vibration, misalignment, and offset. These hoses are available in a wide variety of alloys including type 304, 321, and 316L stainless steel as well as bronze and inconel.  Vibrant Power offers the widest size range of hose assemblies in the industry, which is ¼” I.D. to 30” I.D. It can be supplied with an outer stainless steel braid or with hose and braid sold separately. Our corrugated hose is fully leak tested and pressure tight.  Our hoses are also able to handle continuous flexing or vibration with a large assortment of liquids and gas applications.

Interlocked Metal Hose provides flexible solutions for engine exhaust connections, protective outer casing and wire shielding, air ventilation, dust collection, blower, and suction applications. The sizes of Vibrant Power’s strip wound hoses ranges from ½” I.D. to 16” I.D. The metal strip thickness is available from .010” to .036”. The material choices that Vibrant Power offers are aluminized steel, galvanized steel, and 300 and 400 series stainless steel. Steel hoses are rated for up to 700 deg. F service, while stainless steel hoses are rated up to 1000 deg. F service. Our hoses can be supplied without packing, as well as with packing for suction and blower applications.  A variety of packing materials are available to suit specific applications.

PTFE Braided Hose is a versatile stainless steel braided flexible hose product that provides a solution where piping flexibility and vibration isolation is needed in systems conveying corrosive acids and chemicals. The smooth bore construction has a range of sizes from ¼” I.D. to 1-½” I.D. Also available is the convoluted bore construction with sizes ranging from ½” I.D. to 4” I.D. The inert properties of PTFE make it resistant to attack from practically all chemicals. This is an FDA approved product.

Diverter Dampers are engineered to ensure reliable isolation in by-pass or energy recovery applications. Vibrant Power offers various designs from man safe (zero leak) to low leak (0.5-3%).

Butterfly Dampers offer low-cost isolation and control of flue gases. Through the use of multi-blade designs, Vibrant Power can configure butterfly dampers which meet the flow control needs of your application.

Louver Dampers are used when precise flow control is required (for example at the fan inlet). Vibrant Power offers a choice of parallel blade or opposed blade design.

Guillotine Dampers are engineered to provide isolation of ductwork and equipment. In smaller ductwork, guillotine slide-gates offer a simple low cost solution. In large, oversized ductwork, guillotine designs provide reliable shut-off.
