VICI Precision Sampling - Model A-Series - Syringes for GC and LC Applications

The A-Series syringes are designed to enhance performance in gas chromatography (GC) and liquid chromatography (LC) applications by eliminating carrier backflushing, thus achieving sharper peaks and improved molecular separations. These syringes feature a finely engineered plunger and a needle with a very small internal diameter to minimize dead volume, which is critical for precise sampling and injection. They are constructed with an integral sample storage valve, which is easily activated by turning the nosepiece, and incorporate a positive rear flange stop to prevent plunger blowout under pressure. The modular design facilitates quick disassembly for cleaning or replacement, ensuring longevity and consistent performance. Additionally, VICI's Pressure-Lok® syringes are equipped with a PTFE plunger tip and needle, and an ultra-smooth bore for optimal functionality. These syringes are suitable for use with both gases and liquids, accommodating pressures up to 250 psi. Replacement parts, including needles, are available for continued maintenance of syringe performance.

The Mininert valves are proficient in containing volatile liquids and gases at low pressures, having been tested successfully up to 120 psi, though this is not recommended for glass containers due to the risk of breakage.
