The biomass bulk material like wood chips, shavings, bark and green waste are stored in bunkers. The discharging material is transported through several push rods, which are driven hydraulically, to the bunker outlet opening and led to the conveying system.

Fine shavings and dust can be transported by means of pneumatic conveying systems. In case of an injection furnace the fuel is injected through fans directly into the furnace. Fine and rough bulk material is transported with mechanical conveying systems e.g screws, scraper chain conveyors, conveyor belts and tubulators, which are especially designed for the conveying material.
