Vision Advanced Metering Infrastructure (Ami) Meters
Vision LTE Cat M1 Modem Meter
Vision Metering is proud to introduce a low cost solution for using the public wireless systems to meter residential, commercial and industrial customers. The LTE Cat M1 modem is data only making it significantly less expensive than 4G LTE modems. It is the perfect choice for Machine to Machine (M2M) communications. Cat M1 modems cost about 50% less to produce versus the 4G LTE modem, thus reducing the cost of a typical meter equipped with a modem. Data rates are also decreasing and are less for Cat M1 versus 4G LTE since it does not stream video or audio. Cat M1 is currently available on Verizon nationwide. It was developed to achieve longer transmission distances and reduce the overall costs. Since it is strictly data, one antenna is used to transmit and receive. This makes the data rate slower than a typical 3G or 4G The Cat M1 Modem Meter uses the XT-UL meter platform with UL listings coming soon for 2S, 12S & 16S meters.
Fully Loaded Meter
The XT Platform is the “fully-loaded” kWh meter offered by Vision. In addition to having all of the standard features of the ST platform, it also provides in-the-field Demand reads and it is compatible with multiple Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solutions. This meter is ideal for systems utilizing kV billing or in need of a low-cost smart metering solution. Both Class 100 and Class 200 switches can be included in the base of either package. Class 200 switches are available in forms 1S, 2S, & 12S, while Class 100 switches are available in Forms 1S, 2S, 12S and 16S meters. Additional functionality includes four quadrant metering for KWh and KVARh along with the ability to output VARh pulses for testing. The Vision 20/20 programming software has also been upgraded to provide programming of all new features.
Vesta Test Board System
VESTA Cube
Vesta Cube’s design conforms to your specific needs. It can be configured in multiple ways to work best in your shop. It is driven from an external computer which can be supplied by Vision or supplied by the buyer. You can mount the display on a configurable arm or on top or along side the Cube. Unlike VESTA, Cube has an external computer to satisfy utility security concerns. The typical computer provided with Cube is a Windows 10 Pro with a minimum of I5 Intel processor or higher, 8 mb RAM, and 500 MB storage or higher and net workable. The monitor provided is a touch screen to maintain ease of use like the standard VESTA. Vesta Cube uses multiple processors operating in concert to provide high speed testing, high accuracy and ease of use. Because o f Vesta’s firmware, software and multiple internal processors, meter testing is much faster than with legacy.
Summation Counter
The Sentry 111 is designed to be a simple pulse counter/divider to allow testing of internal standards on Vision Metering’s Vesta Test System or any other manufacturers test system. It is capable of taking input pulses from three external standards and output a summation of the three inputs to a single output. This output can then be compared to the output pulses of the Vision Standard inside the Vesta Test System. The inputs can handle up to 1,400,000 pulses per second on all three inputs representing as little as .0001 Kwh/pulse. The output will max out at 420 pulses per second and represent .1 KWh/pulse. This device can replace the Radian Research RM-111™ when testing Vision’s Vesta Test System internal standard or any other manufacturers test system using external standards as a reference. The Sentry 111 uses precision digital counters to count and compare calibration pulses from reference standards and billing meters.

Isolation Relay & Totalizer
The Sentry 70 Isolation Relay offers 2 independent Inputs and 4 isolated Outputs. The Inputs can accept either 2wire Form A, or 3wire Form C open collector or relay contact outputs from the utility meters. The Outputs are grouped into 3 pairs with each pair controlled by the corresponding Input. The Sentry 70 Isolation Relay offers 2 independent Inputs and 4 isolated Outputs.
