Highly flexible D couplings are especially well-suited for engine test rigs for testing 1‑ to 3-cylinder internal combustion engines. D couplings feature a high torsional flexibility and high torque capacity. Development test rigs, continuous-running test rigs, and end-of-line test rigs operate safely and reliably with this coupling at speeds of up to 10 000 rpm.

The S Series is the basic version of Voith universal joint shafts. It has been designed for small- to medium-sized drives. The connection flanges are friction flanges. In building the S universal joint shafts, we use high-strength tempered and case-hardened steels that assure a very good capability to withstand static and dynamic loads. The universal joint shafts have high torque capacity combined with optimal bending and torsion rigidity.

Voith electrohydraulic I/H converters adjust hydraulic positioning cylinders by means of a pilot valve. The positioning cylinders operate a valve that controls the mass flow needed to drive machinery. Voith I/H converters ensure very precise and highly dynamic control of the mass flow.
