Coupling these tried and true features with Vulcan’s own UL approved, fully automatic, multiple speed controls, produces quick and efficient screenings removal. 

Vulcan brings the simple design of the Model VKR Knuckle-Rake Bar Screen to market for those owners seeking a “budget” screen that can do the job right. But don’t worry, “budget” doesn’t mean flimsy or cheap. Vulcan designed this screen to handle debris found in wastewater, storm water and combined sewers of smaller systems with lower flow rates, but with the same challenges seen in higher flow systems. The Model VKR Screen is an automatic, self-cleaning mechanical bar screen customized for existing channels or new construction. Whether at pump stations, intake structures, or wastewater treatment plants, the Vulcan Model VKR Knuckle-Rake Bar Screen provides consistent, low maintenance and economical screenings removal.

The Model ESR Stair Screen is an automatic, self cleaning, fine screen for primary, secondary or sludge screening in municipal and industrial sewage treatment installations as well as industrial applications such as slaughterhouses, tanneries, breweries, and paper plants. Its design allows for easy installation in new and existing facilities without channel modification, and with a maximum setting angle of 57 degrees, the Model ESR Stair Screen has a compact overall footprint.

The Liqui-Fuge LFP Perforated Rotary Drum Screen is an automatic, self-cleaning fine screen useful for applications from primary to membrane screening in municipal and industrial sewage treatment applications, designed specifically to protect secondary and tertiary wastewater treatment systems. While other wastewater screening equipment technologies including MBR, IFAS and MBBR systems are fouled by hair, fibers and small particles, the fine opening perforated media of the Liqui-Fuge can effectively remove these materials in normal operation. The Liqui-Fuge LFP is designed to accept pumped flow and is internally-fed.

The Model LFS Liqui-Fuge RDS, rotary drum screen is an automatic, self-cleaning fine screen for primary screening in municipal and industrial sewage treatment applications. The screens are also ideal for industrial applications such as slaughterhouses, tanneries, breweries and paper plants. The Liqui-Fuge RDS is designed to accept pumped flow and is internally-fed.

The Model EWP Washing Press is a spiral press that washes organic matter out of screenings material. It washes, dewaters, compacts and transports screenings to a conveyor, container or other suitable receiving device reliably—day in and day out.
