All returned nets are washed and sterilised in a hot water process, with strict segregation protocols to avoid cross-company contamination. At this stage, samples are taken from above and below the waterline and the base of the net for strength testing, with results being entered into our database to compare with original net breaking strains.

If antifouling coatings are part of your fouling management strategy, nets are treated as the final part of the process, and fully dried before despatch. Net polish, to assist with abrasion, can be applied either alone or in conjunction with antifoulant.
