Walki Wool Alkraft is the solution when different mineral wool based insulations need to be easily finished with a good water vapour barrier. It is made of very strong kraft paper with an aluminium layer and polyethylene coating. Walki Wool Alkraft can be lacquered and printed. If you need a stronger version we can offer Walki®Wool Alkraft DD where we have added a glass fibre scrim.

Walki Wool Alnet is an aluminium facing strengthened with a glass fibre scrim which is heat sealable to mineral wool. Mineral wool products may include boards, mats or different pipe insulations. Facing protects them from moisture and improves their fire classification. Facing also facilitates the treatment and installation of insulation products which is and important benefit. It also prevents fractures, dust building and rubbing of the insulations in narrow spaces where people move. Walki®Wool Alnet can be lacquered, preforated and preprinted.

Walki Wall PBL MR is a superior facing for wind barrier plasterboards. Weather resistant and mould retardant, it offers breathable protection by letting humidity out while preventing water from getting in. Treated on one side Walki®Wall PBL MR gives good adhesion for the gypsum slurry. the product achieves its final water repellency and breathability characteristics during the plasterboard manufacturing process.

Walk Active is a vapour variable membrane made from a non-woven polypropylene and a functional film layer. The membrane is dual purpose. In the winter, when it is warmer indoors than outdoors, water vapour tends to flow from inside to outside. Then the functional film layer acts as a vapour barrier ensuring that virtually no vapour gets into the structure. In the summer, vapour flow generally turns from outdoors to indoors. The polyethylene-copolymer film opens and allows water vapour to flow through the structure, allowing extra moisture to leave freely.

Walki®Reel Eco is the ideal wrapper for short transports with few handling steps or less demanding products. Walki®Reel Eco wrappers typically contain 100% recycled fibres. Typical substances: 220, 245 and 270 g/m²

Made from a choice of sustainable and renewable or recycled carton boards, Walki®Pack Chill is a one side polymer coated material which is designed to either protect the pack contents from the external environment or to protect the pack from moisture or grease from the product itself. A wide variety of suitable baseboards and polymer coatings can be applied to enable optimum protection and performance. Used in ambient or chilled conditions where extra protection and shelf life is required, Walki®Pack Chill products can be glued, window patched or heat sealed if required.Typical end uses, sandwich packs, biscuits, header cards, dividers and confectionary cartons.

Is a polymer laminated, board based composite material. Designed for printed detergent packages, it provides a water vapour barrier as well as producing excellent stiffness values for achieving good box compression strength. The specification can be tailored to optimise strength from the materials used. Also available asWalki®Pack D TS,with the additional feature of a pre-positioned tear strip that provides an easy and convenient opening mechanism to the detergent box.

Is a two side polymer coated packaging board. Here, the extra protection of a fully printable polymer gloss or matt finished coating offers extra security, heat sealability and long term moisture protection for sensitive frozen foods. Walki®Pack Frost Plus can be hot melt glued or heat sealed for efficiency. Typical end uses are for products whose storage can be as low as - 40 C but may require a barrier up to 90 C.
