The precision slits or air slits can be used as entrance, exit or intermediate slits for spectrometers, photometers and monochromators etc. The high precision slits also can be used in confocal microscopy, hyperspectral imaging instruments, Lidar or for fourier/optical image analysis various educational optical experiments and other wavelength discrimination demonstrations.

Pinholes are commonly used in light aperturing, spectrophotometer image analysis, confocal microscopy, fluorescence microscope and various advance optical experiments.

Precision air slits and pinholes can be mounted in black-anodized aluminum housing for a secure mechanical support. The mounts also fit into various optical assemblies.

Optical Glass Slits are widely used for entrance and exit slits in optical instruments and systems, including spectrophotometers, line spread functions, masking and in a wide range of imaging and alignment applications. We also manufacture various metal slits and pinholes, pinhole array, slit array etc including mounted and unmounted.

Infrared targets(IR targets) are used for testing thermal imagers operating at MWIR-LWIR spectral band. We can manufacture a wide range of IR targets by creating precision holes of different shapes, including 4-bar, circle, cross, semi-moon (semi-square), triangle etc in thin metal sheets. The surface of the metal sheet can be coated using high emissivity coating (Emissive IR targets) or polished to achieve high reflectivity (Reflective IR targets). Both types of IR targets will generate the same test results if used properly.

TEM Grids (Transmission Electron Microscopy Grids) are used as specimen support grids for electron microscopes. We customize various patterns of TEM grids according to your exact requirements. Grids can include square mesh grid, hexagonal mesh grid, fine hexagonal grid, finders grids, slot grids, parallel bar grid, folding/double grids, aperture/hole grid etc. Materials can be copper, nickel, aluminum, stainless steel, molybdenum etc.

Sapphire is an ultra–high purity single crystal material that is the second hardest material (Moh’s Hardness Upto 9H) after Diamond(10H) . It has excellent insulating properties and optical transmittance from 200nm~5000nm; AVG>85%  Visible Light Freqency. It also has great abrasion and corrosion resistance, low thermal expansion and excellent mechnical properties.
