Wasson-ECE - Dynamic Blender

The Wasson-ECE Dynamic Blender is a simple, portable blending device that dilutes a sample or certified standard with a diluent gas of choice. The device contains a digital mass flow controller (MFC) that allows the diluent gas flow to be easily adjusted. An inert flow path and heated bridge eliminate adsorption and condensation issues when blending gas standards that include sulfurs, oxygenates, or other reactive analytes. The diluted mix is fed directly to a gas chromatograph (GC) sampling loop for analysis. Gas chromatographic analyses often require multi-level calibration or low concentration standards. Some analytes are quite expensive or difficult to purchase at low levels due to reactivity, adsorption, or high molecular weights.

Wasson-ECE - Gas Auto-sampler

The Wasson-ECE Gas Auto-sampler (AS202) automates the sampling of multiple sample cylinders for analysis on a gas chromatograph (GC). The auto-sampler oven accommodates up to twelve 500 mL or nine 1-liter sample cylinders with a maximum temperature of 135°C. The software allows users to enter sample information, adjust software parameters, log sample injection times, and create data reports. The Gas Auto-sampler is a stand-alone device that delivers samples to the GC through a heated bridge, eliminating cold spots along the sample path. The system performs a purge and vacuum step between each sample injection to minimize cross-contamination (typically less than 50 ppm).

The Wasson-ECE Liquid Auto-sampler (LS100B) automates the delivery of pressurized liquid samples such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and natural gas liquids (NGL) to a gas chromatograph (GC) for analysis. The auto-sampler accommodates up to nine unheated sample cylinders with maximum pressure of 1000 psig. The system uses an inert gas to maintain pressure ensuring samples remain in liquid phase for analysis.

The Wasson-ECE LPG Pressurization Station is a stand-alone unit that prevents premature evaporation of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) samples such as C3 and C4 hydrocarbon mixtures. The Wasson-ECE OFID Controller Box with Purge Pressure Shutdown is a stand-alone accessory for Wasson-ECE OFID analyzers to prevent damage to the OFID cracking reactor caused by loss of reactor purge gas. The OFID/methanizer controller box is designed to shut down the heater of the OFID cracker upon loss of purge gas. When purge pressure is lost, power to the OFID heater will be shut down and an LED will illuminate to indicate loss of purge. When purge pressure is reestablished, the LED will turn off and a timer LED will illuminate. Power is restored to the OFID heater circuit once the reactor has properly purged. The system contains a timer bypass button to allow the user to bypass the purge timer.
