Solvent Collection Cabinets

Solvents are hazardous and difficult to destroy. Because of their volatile nature, solvents pose a high fire hazard and must be handled as an explosion risk. Usually a Class 1, Div 1 or Div 2 explosion proof rating is needed. In addition, double containment is typically required due to contamination risks.

Heavy Metal Removal Systems

Common heavy metals like Nickel, Chrome, Zinc, Cadmium and Copper are typical byproducts of industrial and laboratory processes and can pose considerable health risks to human beings. It is required that their presence in wastewater be reduced to legal levels before being discharged into the environment as mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Packaged and custom Heavy Metal Removal Systems from Wastech, which utilize both precipitation and ion exchange technology, are designed to assist industrial facilities in eliminating or reducing the existence of up to 21 heavy metals from their process wastewater. In instances where wastewater is highly-concentrated with heavy metals, precipitation processes are used, whereas the ion exchange method is more appropriate for treating wastewater with lower concentration of heavy metals.

Chemical Collection Cabinets

Chemicals are commonly used in manufacturing and various processes, and the handling and storage of all types of chemicals is a concern for operators as well as facility managers. If you are looking for a safe and efficient low-cost solution to collect and store these non-flammable or other hazardous liquids, Wastech has the solution for you.

Fluoride Removal Systems

HF, or Hydrofluoric Acid, is a high-volume chemical that is extremely corrosive. It is miscible with water with the release of heat and an acrid, irritating odor, forming a clear, colorless liquid. HF is a significant health hazard as a liquid, even in diluted quantities. HF vapor, or Hydrogen Fluoride gas, can cause severe injury through contact, inhalation or ingestion. Free fluoride ions will destroy soft tissue and damage bones.

Pump Lift Stations

High Capacity Pump Lift Stations (HCPLS)

Wastech`s High Capacity Pump Lift Stations (HCPLS) are designed for transferring high volumes of water, chemicals and wastewater when a gravity drain is not possible. All HCPLS systems use thermoplastic vertical centrifugal pumps for corrosion resistance. Custom configurations and tank geometries are available, call or e-mail Sales.

Air Operated Pump Lift Stations (AOPLS)

Wastech`s Air Operated Pump Lift Stations (AOPLS) are designed for safely and efficiently transferring many liquids from wastewater to slurries when a gravity drain is not possible.

Vertical Pump Lift Stations (VPLS)

Wastech`s Vertical Pump Lift Stations (VPLS) are designed for transferring water, chemicals and wastewater when a gravity drain is not possible. Larger pump and tank sizes and custom configurations available.

pH Adjustment

Wastech LabDELTA - Skid-Mounted pH Adjustment System

The LabDELTA Plus is a skid-mounted pH adjustment system for neutralizing small-volume laboratory process wastewater and is designed for  continuous flows up to 3 gpm. This continuous system incorporates two active treatment stages along with effluent pH monitoring to ensure that the treated wastewater will be safe to discharge to the public sewer line.

Wastech LabDELTA Batch - Skid-Mounted pH Adjustment System

The LabDELTA Batch is a skid-mounted pH adjustment system that is designed for neutralizing small-volume laboratory process wastewater. This batch system includes a 20 gallon holding tank that stores wastewater before being transferred to a 10 gallon reaction tank. Batch systems use one active treatment stage to ensure that the wastewater will be neutralized to the required discharge pH level before entering the sewer line. LabDELTA® laboratory waste treatment units are quiet, sealed to eliminate vapors, and designed to be vented to building systems. Acid waste, and most lab liquid wastes are handled automatically. The units can be monitored locally with alarm lights, or remotely on a PC using Ethernet-based communications.

Wastech LabDELTA - Concentrated pH Adjustment System

The LabDELTA Concentrated pH adjustment system is a skid-mounted system designed for neutralizing smallvolumes of concentrated laboratory wastewater. This system includes holding tanks for storing both acidic and caustic wastewater. The wastes are alternately added in small increments to a reaction tank containing a heel of water. Once level is made in the reaction tank and the wastewater is neutralized it is discharged to the sewer. If a waste is depleted during a treatment cycle, the system automatically switches to using chemical reagents for pH neutralization.
