Flow and Load Surveys Services
With the increasing cost of trade effluent discharge to sewer and increasing regulatory control of final effluent discharges, undertaking a flow and load survey of existing wastewater effluent streams can result in significant cost benefits.
Efficiency Testing
Oxygen Transfer Efficiency (OTE) Testing Services
OTE tests allow plant owners to assess the long term running costs of their aeration systems, and confirm that they have the capacity to meet peak oxygen demands. Due to this, utilities will often require on OTE report prior to handover of a new treatment plant, to ensure it meets specification.
Mixing Efficiency Testing Services
Mixing efficiency testing provides valuable information actual residence times and mixing characteristics in a tank/mixing system. Testing can be conducted on new or redesigned mixing systems, or where there has been a change to the process or flow rate through the tank. On older tanks where there may be large solids deposition, it can provide important information on active volume. Testing is usually conducted for 2 or 3 times the hydraulic retention time of the tank under test.

Wastewater Management Ltd. offers the following parameters (but not limited to) for wastewater analysis: Ammonia, Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Fats, Oils and Grease, Nitrite, pH, Phosphorous as Orthophosphate, Soluble Metal Content per parameter, Sulphate, Sulphide, Total Alkalinity as CaCO3, Total Dissolved Solids (105°C), Total Metal Content per parameter, Total Nitrogen, Total Phosphate, Total Suspended Solids (105°C), Total Volatile Suspended Solids (505°C), Volatile Fatty Acids.
