Over the past 20 years, our training group has developed and delivered a range of educational courses for all ability levels. Our training will give clarity to technical topics and enhance the quality and reliability of your projects. All of our courses include hands-on learning using our industry-recognized groundwater software to provide in-depth and practical training on its use and application.

We recognize that budgetary constraints or a tight schedule can limit you from attending classroom style courses, on-line sessions or conferences. We have introduced a series of Self-Study Training sessions to give you the flexibility to learn from your home or office. We have recorded audio/visual lectures from knowledgeable instructors skilled at communicating key points which will allow you to use your Waterloo Hydrogeologic software more effectively. These courses are designed to provide the maximum exposure in a shorter time frame.

This hands-on course teaches the basics of using AquaChem for water quality data management. Through five in-depth exercises and three recorded lectures, users are guided through the process of creating an AquaChem database, importing data, and analyzing data in AquaChem.

Concepts and applications of groundwater modeling using the Visual MODFLOW Flex interface. Groundwater modeling is an important part of many hydrogeologic projects, and MODFLOW and MT3D are recognized standards in groundwater flow and solute transport modeling programs. The course is designed to introduce the participants to the concepts and applications of groundwater modeling using the Visual MODFLOW Flex interface. This course will introduce you to groundwater modelling and the use of Visual MODFLOW Flex for the development of conceptual and numerical models. The course provides a combination of lectures and comprehensive hands-on exercises taught by one of our well-experienced instructors and are based on real-world problems.

This course utilizes the AquiferTest Pro software to demonstrate the analysis and interpretation of water level data from pumping and slug tests. Participants will be introduced to the theory behind the analysis of pumping and slug in order to better support interpretations. The course combines interactive online lectures, comprehensive exercises and discussions facilitated by one of our well-experienced instructors to better improve you understanding of AquiferTest Pro.
