WECO - Backwashing Carbon Filter for Taste and Odor Improvement

The WECO Backwashing filter with catalytic granular activated carbon (GAC) plus a KDF-85 Media Guard is a high-performance Point-Of-Entry (POE) filter designed to remove rotten egg odors caused by hydrogen sulfide from water supplies. Ferrous iron along with potentially harmful metals such as zinc, cadmium and copper are oxidized and rendered non-reactive by catalytic reactions. Incoming water first passes through the Media Guard with KDF-85. Media Guard is an insert device loaded with KDF-85. The KDF-85 catalytic media consists of high purity copper-zinc granules that use redox (the exchange of electrons) remove hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, chlorine and control microorganisms in potable water without the use of chemicals. Residual chlorine disinfectants then react with the tank of GAC, converting chlorine to harmless chloride.

WECO - Semi Commercial Nanofiltration Drinking Water Filter

WECO NF Series light commercial nano filter uses four stages of water filtration to create pure drinking water, ideal for residential use, medical offices, laboratories, schools, aquariums and hydroponic growing operations. The process starts by removing tiny particles like rust, silt and insect parts. This protects your family and prevents the filtration systems from clogging. Next, the water flows through two 5-micron activated carbon block cartridges. These compressed carbon block filters remove taste and odor-causing chemicals like chlorine, chloramine and rotten-egg odors. The next step involves the nanofilter (NF) process. Here water is “squeezed” through a special membrane. Heavy metals, like lead and mercury, are removed while purified water passes through. The NF process also removes salts, fluoride, radon and benzene.

WECO - High Efficiency Twin Alternating Water Softener for Water Hardness Reduction

The WECO Water softener is a Point-Of-Entry (POE) filtration system for municipal and well water supplies. The softener uses a high-efficiency 10% cross-linked gel type strong acid cation resin with a high resistance to oxidation, osmotic and thermal shock. WECO water softeners can be used with chlorinated municipal water without fear of premature resin break-down. The main application of this filter system is water softening for well and municipal water supplies. The WECO system is compatible with residential, industrial, institutional and medical water supplies. This water softener can be used stand-alone or in conjunction with other WECO filtration systems. Twin system provide uninterrupted flow of soft water 24/7.

WECO - Whole House Reverse Osmosis

WECO HydroSense commercial reverse osmosis filter uses four stages of water filtration to create pure drinking water, ideal for residential use, medical offices, laboratories, schools, aquariums and hydroponic growing operations. The process starts by removing tiny particles like rust, silt, and insect parts. This protects your family and prevents the filtration systems from clogging. Next, the water flows through two 5-micron activated carbon block cartridges. These compressed carbon block filters remove taste and odor-causing chemicals like chlorine, chloramine and rotten-egg odors. Chlorine disinfection process can create cancer-causing byproducts in the water. These carcinogens, called THMs, are removed by the carbon filters. The carbon cartridges also remove organic contaminants like herbicides, insecticides and industrial chemicals that seep into groundwater.
