Weschler Instruments products

Weschler 4½” (KA-241, KC-241) & 8¾” (KA-261, KC-261) instruments are designed to achieve the ultimate in reliability and performance. These instruments are recommended for use on electric utility switchboards and industrial process control panels. Commercial instruments comply with ANSI Standard C39.1 for 1% class switchboard instruments. The Hi-Shock versions were developed to meet the special needs of U.S. Navy shipboard applications. They are also suitable for commercial, marine and industrial applications subjected to humid conditions or severe mechanical shocks.

Watt, VAR and Power Factor Meters for Single and Three Phase Systems. These Weschler BG Series Circular Bargraphs are optimized for AC power measurements. The ACP4 series Bargraphs utilize self-contained Current Transformers (CT) and accurate solid-state circuitry to measure both single and polyphase systems.

The Weschler BG Series Circular Bargraphs include the BG241, BG251, BG261 and BG281. The panel footprint, shape and mounting meets direct retrofit applications for 4½” and 8¾” switchboard meters, as well as 6″ and 8″ pressure gauge meters. The electronics housing is identical for both sizes.

Weschler’s 101 segment LED Bargraphs combine the best of analog and digital solid state instrumentation. The BI125 and PC202 Dual Bargraphs have two independent 101 segment indicator bars that fit easily into standard 6″ edgewise and DIN size panel cutouts. Bars are available in red, green or amber.

The Transformer Advantage is a precision temperature monitor for liquid-immersed power and distribution transformers. It is rugged, fully electronic and field configurable. With Transformer Advantage, users can extend transformer life, utilize maximum capacity and reduce maintenance costs. Seven models in the Advantage 2 line offer a range of functions and configurations. All use an accurate and stable platinum temperature sensor (RTD) to precisely measure critical liquid temperatures. Setpoint relays can activate alarms or multiple stages of cooling at different temperatures.

The Transformer Advantage 3 is Weschler’s newest electronic temperature monitor for substation and power plant transformers. It is rugged, fully electronic and field configurable. With Transformer Advantage, users can extend transformer life, utilize maximum capacity and reduce maintenance costs. Five models in the new Advantage 3 line offer a range of functions and configurations. New enhancements include up to 12 relays, 4 analog outputs and fiber Ethernet. The Transformer Advantage 3 is a cost-effective replacement for analog gauges and an easy upgrade from the Advantage 2.

The Zahn viscosimeter is a bullet-shaped, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel cup with a precision drilled orifice. Five sizes are available for use on very thin oils to extremely heavy mixtures (20-1200 Centipoise). Viscosity is determined by the time required for a definite volume of liquid to flow through the orifice. These easy-to-use products were originally manufactured by G.E. and are still Made in USA.
