WCEC - Hydrocarbons Services

WCEC’s experience at petroleum release sites is extensive and comprehensive. Projects successfully completed by WCEC include but are not limited to overseeing the removal of underground storage tanks (USTs) at retail petroleum stations, providing emergency response, site investigation and corrective action implementation services at train derailments and petroleum pipeline sites involving large-scale release of hydrocarbons, completion of high resolution site characterization using direct sensing technologies, and preparation of 3D integrated site visualizations as part of our development of comprehensive site conceptual models.

WCEC - Regulatory Compliance Services

WCEC assists clients with a variety of environmental and regulatory compliance issues under Federal, state, and local regulatory programs, including the following: Facility Response Plans (FRP). Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans. National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits. Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP). Other Regulatory Compliance Issues.

Spill Response Emergency Services

WCEC`s emergency response services are available to all of our private and governmental clients. When a hazardous spill or an environmental accident happens, WCEC provides effective solutions and dependable remediation. Experienced in petroleum, chemical, fertilizer and hazardous materials, we coordinate and implement resources to provide a quick response to any environmental emergency 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

MN State Contract Services

Emergency Response, Environmental, Full Service Contract. WCEC is pleased to provide services to Minnesota state agencies through the Minnesota Department of Administration, Materials Management Division`s Emergency Response, Environmental, Full Service Contract. This contract was renewed for another 5 year term in January 2015.

Recycling and Disposal Services

WCEC`s petroleum treatment facility located in Fridley, Minnesota has greater than 200,000 gallons of storage capacity and the capacity to treat several types of petroleum-based industrial waste products. WCEC provides waste treatment to a variety of industrial customers including major oil companies, pipelines, Class I Railroads, utility companies, government agencies and other industries that generate waste petroleum materials.
