Whiffle’s ultra-high resolution atmospheric model, based on Large Eddy Simulation (LES), is ideally suited for air quality applications. The transport of pollutants through the atmosphere is strongly governed by turbulent flows of air. Whiffle employs a turbulence resolving atmospheric model that explicitly models the air motion responsible for dispersion of particles through the atmosphere. The advantage of our technology is that the influence of atmospheric conditions and obstacles on the air flow is taken into account.
