Environmental field sampling services

White Water Associates provides a full line of field sampling services. We own the equipment necessary to locate, access, and sample a variety of media and conditions. We have staff trained in established protocols for sampling surface waters for myriad chemical constituents including metals, organics, and nutrients. White Water staff has long-established experience in conducting low-level metals and mercury sampling using “clean hands-dirty hands” techniques. We are experienced in measuring and assessing physical attributes of lakes and streams such as stream discharge, lake retention time, volume, clarity, morphology, habitats, and much more. We can deploy and operate devices that continuously monitor water quality conditions or obtain water samples.

Drinking water analysis services

White Water Associates laboratory is certified for drinking water analysis by EPA and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (certification #9306). Sample bottles are provided by the lab in individual or bulk supply. Supplies are sent to the customer with instructions, chain of custody form, and appropriate bottles. Reports and invoices are sent to the client in hard copy via the US mail and/or PDF form via email if you provide us with your email address. Reports can also be sent by us to the local County Health Department via email. White Water Lab is open from 7 AM to 5 PM CST. We receive U.S. mail from everywhere in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan overnight by regular parcel service. We receive our mail at 8 am in the morning. We can receive samples in the mail on Friday and Saturday because we do set up and read out on the weekends.

Water Analytical Services, Wastewater Analytical Services, and Soil Analytical Services

White Water Associates offers laboratory analyses with prompt reporting and clear interpretation. Areas of specialty include testing associated with surface and groundwater monitoring and drinking water analysis. We routinely analyze water, soil and waste for the presence of metals, nutrients, and organics using state-of-the-science instrumentation and procedures.
