This anemometer was developed from the proven A100 Porton™ instrument and R30 rotor design in response to demand for an anemometer offering pulse/frequency and analogue voltage outputs while consuming little supply current. The low power consumption, wide power supply range and choice of pulse/frequency and analogue voltage output signals make this anemometer a popular choice for use with data loggers for applications such as general meteorology and wind-power site surveying as this instrument has first class performance.

This anemometer is a variant of the A100L2 which itself was originally developed from the proven A100 Porton™ instrument and R30 rotor design. This variant is offered to satisfy those low-power applications requiring an anemometer offering a pulse/frequency output while consuming little supply current and operating from a supply as low as 5v. The low power consumption, wide power supply range and pulse/frequency signal make this anemometer a popular choice for use with data loggers for applications such as general meteorology and wind-power site surveying as this instrument has first class performance.

The A100R is an anemometer designed for `run of wind` or average wind speed measurements when used with an electronic counter or a data logger. The calibrated 3-cup R30 series rotor drives an actuator in a carefully balanced magnet system with the resulting varying field operating a reed switch (contact opens and closes once per rotor revolution). The reed switch is mercury-wetted which results in bounce-free operation. Note: Also consider our A100AC for an alternative anemometer model which is lower-cost, requires no power to operate, produces 2 pulses/revolution and does not contain mercury.

This NEW premium quality First Class W200P/FC windvane is a enhanced version of our W200P windvane which is a popular choice for demanding Wind Assessment applications, having "First Class" performance to meet the requirements of the IEC61400-12-1standard.  The NEW W200P/FCPotentiometer Windvane incorporates a 10K Ohm precision wire-wound potentiometer as a shaft angle transducer, enabling wind direction sensed by the NEW Large F20/FC fin to be accurately determined when connected to suitable measuring equipment, such as a data logger or PLC.

TheT302is an aspirated air temperature sensor, built to a UK Government Meteorological Office design and is suitable for use where measurements of the highest accuracy are required. A unique triple-walled enclosure is used to obtain maximum protection from measurement errors due to thermal radiation. The enclosure comprises two ABS plastic shields separated by polystyrene foam together with a 0.05mm thick stainless steel shield. A large glass-fibre `hat` protects the entire assembly from direct solar radiation for solar elevations in excess of 66 degrees, and measures have been taken to protect against long-wave ground radiation.  The sensor is aspirated by a long life motor/fan with its power cable separate from the sensor cable to avoid interference on low-level transducer signals. The entire assembly is weather resistant for exterior use.

OurH301 Aspirated Psychrometeris an aspirated humidity sensor using the "Wet and Dry Bulb" method for reliable determination of air temperature and relative humidity. A pair of 100 Ohm 4-terminal platinum resistance elements (RTD/PRT) are used as the sensing elements.

The PTB110 Barometeri s designed both for accurate barometric pressure measurements at room temperature and or general environmental pressure monitoring over a wide temperature range. It uses Vaisala``s BAROCAP(R) silicon capacitive sensor to measure barometric pressure over a 500 to 1100 millibar(hPa) range with an output of 0 to 2.5v and a low current consumption, making it suitable for use with a wide range of data loggers.

Some of the more advanced Panel/Process Meters can also power the anemometer and be configured to average the wind speed signal and/or operate alarm relays. Some Panel/Process Meters can also produce a 4-20mA current loop signal equivalent to the wind speed (e.g. for connection to a PLC/SCADA system or to another Panel/Process Meter as an "extension display").
