Windtools has developed, in collaboration with tool manufacturer Bahco, the first liftable tool box, which allows you to lift the tool directly without having to put it in a bag and to keep it tidy, accessible and controlled, avoiding tool loss.

Windtools develops and manufactures different types of test benches according to the requirements of our customers. In this case, we show a test bench to test the breaking limit of steel cable and accessories designed by our customer.

Windtools has developed a climbing aid that allows technical staff to climb up and down vertical ladders with little effort, relieving them of up to 65 kg. This considerably reduces operator fatigue and muscular overloads caused by this tedious task. The Climb Assist 2.0 is different compared to existing aids, the lack of electronics to control the force and speed of the aid, achieving a safer, simpler and more economical product. The Climb Assist 2.0 aid is designed with top quality materials and with the necessary safety measures for both the operators and the wind turbine.

Windtools develops removable fireproof enclosures that are assmbled on top of the brake disc guards. This system prevents the risk of fire when sparks are generated by the wind turbine’s emergency brake. Our design makes the difference with respect to what is available on the market as it allows a perfect seal between the brake disc and any type of gearbox, preventing any spark from escaping outside the casing. It is designed for easy disassembly and, when reassembled, it can be done quickly and effectively without interfering with maintenance work.
