The industry’s leading 3D Raman imaging system now features ParticleScout, one of the most advanced tools for particle analysis ever developed. ParticleScout can survey, classify, analyze, quantify and identify particles over even large sample areas. It enables measurements that proceed from a sample overview, to targeted investigations of particles in groups defined by the user, through a precise chemical characterization of individual particles. The results of the measurement are then presented in a report that provides a comprehensive description of the sample. ParticleScout leverages the speed, sensitivity and resolution of WITec’s Raman imaging microscopes to ensure quick and seamless particle analysis.

TrueMatch is a powerful and innovative software component for accessing and developing Raman spectral databases. With this technology, existing databases containing representative Raman spectra of common materials or substrates can be searched and used to identify sample components. It also allows users to create their own catalog of spectra pertinent to their research. It is fully integrated with the WITec Suite FIVE software environment and is a perfect complement to WITec’s data evaluation and post-processing components.

WITec Suite FIVE - Make the Most of your Measurement. WITec Suite FIVE is a novel and intuitive operating concept for all WITec microscopes. It includes a powerful software environment for data acquisition, evaluation, and processing of even large data volumes and 3D scans. The novel integrated wizard guides the user through the entire experiment, from initial settings and acquisition to data and image post-processing and simplifies the generation of high-quality images. The unique handheld controller EasyLink provides a tactile and immediate interface for directing the automated translation stage, objective turret, illumination and focus.

Automated Absolute Laser Power Determination in mW: TruePower is a new experience in laser power adjustment for confocal Raman imaging measurements. The absolute laser power is measured in the optical fiber and can be adjusted with accuracy of <0.1 mW. A laser shutter shields the sample from the laser light and opens only during Raman analysis with optimized laser power to avoid any sample degradation. TruePower is the only laser power measurement system on the market to provide such an accuracy ensuring optimal laser power for the preservation of delicate samples and reproducibility in measurement conditions.
