WRc carry out accuracy testing of meters removed from service for: Customer dispute tests, Meter under-registration studies, Performance surveillance tests, Regulatory compliance. Such testing can cover meters from small domestic meters up to 150mm bore. Testing is conducted in accordance with UK and International Standards using fully calibrated and traceable reference methods. Individual test certificates can be provided.

Creating the ‘Asset Management Organisation’; Major studies have shown that maintenance processes account for only a small proportion of asset associated productivity losses. By far the bigger impacts on productivity losses are felt from inappropriate design, operations and procurement practices throughout the lifecycle of the asset.

We are renowned for our industry-leading approach to leak detection, having delivered some of the largest trunk main leak detection projects in the UK and abroad, for clients such as international water undertakers and industrial users. Our state-of-the-art technologies accurately detect the smallest of leaks and air pockets in a pipeline. Utilising pre-existing access points for deployment and removal of equipment wherever possible, leaks can be identified, assessed and quantified without causing disruption to the service.
