UCARCIDETM 250 is the unique mark that is used in medical industry among glutaraldehyde products by Dow Chemical Company, and it has achieved EPA certification. Pure glutaraldehyde is colorless and transparent oily liquid with 25~50% hydrate and a little irritant bad fruit odor. Easily soluble in water, soluble in ethyl alcohol, diethyl ether and other organic solvents. It can be used in leather tanning agent, sterilization and protein fixator. It is specifically used in leather; industrial water treatment; papermaking; oilfield and other fields.

It is colorless liquid. And it is key material in medical, dyes, perfume and resin industry. It is used for manufacturing of lauric aldehyde, lauric acid, malachite green; also as solvent, plasticizer, and low-temperature lubrication agent.
