Stormwater Compliance Services
A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is required for all projects disturbing more than one acre. For all such projects, a Notice of Intent (NOI) must be filed with the State Water Resources Control Board. The NOI contains a description of the proposed work as well as a certification by the property owner that their project will conform to all of the requirements of the NPDES General Permit, primarily the preparation and implementation of the SWPPP. The Notice of Termination (NOT), is filed upon project completion and ends the site’s coverage for discharges under the General Permit. A SWPPP is a living document that must be modified as the construction progresses and site BMPs (Best Management Practices) evolve through the duration of the project.
