Xerxes - Fiberglass Potable Water Tanks
Xerxes fiberglass tanks make storing safe drinking water refreshingly simple. Health and safety requirements for drinking water systems can be complex, but sourcing a tank that meets them shouldn’t be. Xerxes tanks offer numerous material and design advantages that make them reliable, potable water storage tanks. Lightweight tanks make installation in remote areas easy and cost effective. Locations with remote water sources or low-performing wells, such as parks, campgrounds, private residences, schools, churches and subdivisions may all find solutions to their water needs with a fiberglass water tank. Our fiberglass tank can be manufactured as an NSF-listed (and labeled) tank for dual-use: providing both potable water and fire protection water.
Xerxes - Rainwater Harvesting Tanks
Harvesting rainwater can be key component in addressing water shortages. Homes, businesses and communities can all benefit from the corrosion-resistant fiberglass rainwater storage tanks that Xerxes provides. With concern about diminishing supplies of water, it’s never been more important to make every attempt to collect and reuse water. Harvested rainwater can easily be used for irrigation and landscaping, and when treated it can supply greywater or even potable water. For potable water use, our tanks can be shipped as NSF 61-listed tanks.
Wastewater Tanks
Xerxes - Onsite Wastewater Tanks
Xerxes corrosion-resistant fiberglass tanks offer numerous material and design advantages that make them reliable, cost-effective wastewater storage tanks. Secure storage of corrosive wastewater is essential in both onsite and municipal applications no matter how small or large the quantity. The smooth, rounded walls of our cylindrical tanks don’t trap debris like tanks with corners, making them easy to clean. Since fiberglass is inherently corrosion-resistant, inside and out, our tanks don’t need added liners to protective against corrosive wastewater. The result is a reliable tank with ongoing cost savings from the regular inspection and maintenance required for tanks of other materials.
Xerxes - Industrial Wastewater Tanks
With rising recognition of the need to protect our water systems and resources, regulatory bodies are increasingly requiring businesses and industries of all types to keep pollutants and contaminants from entering groundwater, water bodies and wastewater systems. Our watertight corrosion-resistant fiberglass tanks are ideal for factory washdown, emergency spills and landfill leachate runoff. Our single-wall and double-wall tanks securely collect hazardous materials before they are removed from a site or treated for reuse. For added protection, our double-wall wastewater tanks can be manufactured with an interstitial monitoring option.
Interceptors & Separators
Xerxes - Grease Interceptors
Investing in corrosion-resistant fiberglass means cost savings for the long-term. A key element of today’s wastewater systems are grease interceptors that collect fats, oils, and grease (FOG) before wastewater enters the municipal or onsite system. Maintenance-free fiberglass interceptors are not vulnerable to the deterioration that other materials are. The bacteria that generates hydrogen sulfide and sulfuric acid in these units corrodes porous concrete and ultimately leads to product failure.
