Materials
XJet - Model C700 - Alumina
Alumina or aluminum oxide (Al2O3) is the most common technical ceramic material. It displays high electrical insulation, strength, wear-resistance and thermal conductivity, together with good heat and corrosion resistance.
XJet - Model C808 - Zirconia
Zirconia (ZrO2) is one of the strongest and toughest fine ceramic materials. Its excellent mechanical properties include very high strength and fracture toughness. Zirconia also exhibits outstanding heat insulation, as its thermal conductivity is less than 1/10 of other ceramics.
