The first step in all of our programs is the coordination, removal and return of assets located globally back to a YBC Processing Facility or Service Center. YBC coordinates the entire removal process from designated locations using our own experienced freight staff. All equipment is packed according to precise requirements by licensed and bonded personnel. Our global reach for moving and processing equipment is what gives us the edge over our competitors.

A Hard Drive Scrub is perhaps the safest and most assured way to permanently remove information from a hard drive without damaging the drive. YBC utilizes a forensic “HD SCRUB” that overwrites data in full compliance with DoD 5220.22-M . It utilizes a layered method of overwriting data using a sequence of nulls (Binary O’s) randomly generated characters, alternating characters, or user definable fixed characters in any sequence.  Our HD Scrub overwrites every sector and every cluster, down to every byte of information on the hard drive.  The process can also be customized to capture the make, model and serial number of each drive scrubbed.

YBC offers a full suite of warehouse services. As soon as your equipment arrives at YBC we begin to track and report details related to the shipment including its overall condition, arrival time, carrier, piece count, serial numbers and more. The equipment is then sorted by category and moved to its appropriate staging area before receiving an inventory location ID. This process allows for a quick reconciliation to assure that all pieces are accounted for and to note if any damages have occurred during transport.
