Hoeing is used in the fermentation process of organic wastes. Organic wastes contain the elements that plants need after fermentation. The feathers which are carried by water enter into the screen through the intake hole. Water and the feathers fill and overload the tank; the overflowing water and feathers open the trap-door plate, then they land into the screen. Feathers are filtered and the water is collected in a separate tank underneath the machine; then it’s discharged through the exit. With the directional movement of the cleaning brush and the screen’s curvature, feathers are inclined to move towards the curve, then they land on the conveyor.

At rendering units, the offal which is transferred from the slaughterhouse by the pumps is dehydrated by the separators first. The tube which carries the juicy offal with the help of pumps is 200 mm in diameter. The carrying tube brings the material into the rotor which rotates 7-8 times a minute. Rotor is made of stainless, specifically designed, imported bar screen. The dehydrated material will be poured into the bunker and the waste liquid will be transferred to the wastewater treatment facility.
