HPLC Chromatography Systems (GMP)
YMC - Multi-Column/Continuous Systems
Allowing continuous processing of difficult to separate feed streams, YMC’s twin-column HPLC systems are the premier platform for the production of today’s therapeutics. The multi-column design allows the user to automatically reprocess leading and trailing peaks to increase yield and purity while drastically decreasing solvent usage. Another major benefit is in decreasing QA samples by up to tenfold.
YMC - Single-Column (Batch) Systems
For decades, the use of HPLC systems with single-column designs has been the go-to platform for the purification of small-molecule pharmaceuticals. The engineering inherent in the YMC HPLC designs is lauded for the precision and accuracy by which they purify target molecules. Built for industrial GMP use from pilot scale to over 66 LPM, these units are available in both cost-efficient basic standard designs as well as robust designs custom engineered to nearly any end-user requirement or regulator standard.
Dilution & Blending
YMC - Aqueous Buffers System
Downstream processing of monoclonal antibodies and other recombinant proteins requires large volumes of buffer to maintain pH and conductivity during chromatographic purification steps and to stabilize proteins during hold steps and processing. YMC’s Buffer In-line Dilution (BID) systems with digitally controlled, diaphragm metering pumps and optimized fluidic design deliver a precise and accurate flow of both buffer concentrate and diluent. This ensures better control of final buffer composition and minimizes the variation of critical quality attributes, such as (ionic strength, concentration, pH, and conductivity).
YMC - Solvent Dilution System
Solvents are widely accepted reagents and cleaning agents for pharmaceutical products and eluting chromatography media. YMC’s EcoPrime Solvent Dilution systems are designed to perform highly controlled solvent dilution processes to generate ready-to-use solutions when needed, reducing tank requirements and the cost associated with handling large volumes and enhancing scheduling flexibility.

Biosynthesis systems are integral to our customers in the fast-growing field of therapeutic compounds such as peptides and oligonucleotides. Biosynthesis systems build, through a physical synthesis process, portions of RNA or DNA molecules (oligonucleotides).

YMC - Bulk Resins
Bulk resins allow flexibility for the user to load columns of various manufacture and size with a range of stationary phases (resins). Bulk resins are particularly useful in semi-prep and preparative chromatography, which require the production of significant quantities of purified drug substances. Bulk resins are packing materials for either HPLC or LPLC chromatography columns of the scale to perform preparative (gram) scale batches of drug products. Depending on the substance to be purified, the user has qualified the resin or gel at the bench scale likely in pre-packed columns and now procures quantities of the same resin in bulk. Bulk media is packed by the user into larger-scale columns that are not available as pre-packed and/or realize a cost benefit of bulk packaging.
