Twin-Shaft Shredder for both bulk and packed collection scrap and car. BLUE DEVIL is the only machine offered on the market specifically designed to be used in the shredding of steel scrap. The processing of steel scrap is essential for providing it with homogeneous features and high specific weight. The BLUE DEVIL twin-shaft shredders are designed for achieving the maximum reduction in volume of ferrous and non ferrous scrap and ensure their maximum value possible, thanks to a very high density (0.8 tonn/m3 minimum).

Zato is offering its Z-Box air separation, to remove the light fraction (fluff, dust, paint, etc…) from the shredded product. The Z-Box is a complementary system to the shredding line, usually included in the hammermills, that, depending from the processed material, can be installed upstream or downstream of the magnetic separator. The crushed material falls then in a duct made of anti-wear, “Z” shaped duct, while descending hits the inner steps and expands inside the duct. During this process, counterflowing air allows the aspiration of light materials during the fall. The air separation is capable to return excellent results and allows to obtain a high quality final product.

ZATO’s shear balers are made of simple but sturdy arc welded metal components. BLUE WHALE is perfectly independent and is equipped, directly on board of the motor pump unit, diesel or electric, and with the full electric and oil pressure components required for its operation and control. In order to reduce frictions and ease the compacting of the material, ZATO shear balers are equipped with a specifically designed compression box. The first compression system is performed through two oscillating “wings” that are hinged to the sliding base, and are both designed for reducing friction wear during operation.

The Eagle Claw series rail breakeris the optimal solution for all the works that imply the reduction in size of tramrails and rails for cranes or for tempered and hardened bars. The shearing zone, the inner zone for the sliding of the rollers and the inner part of the frame are interchangeable parts which can be easily replaced and are covered by removable shields. It is possible to install the rail breaker both on a fixed support and on the excavator. The shearing cycle of the rail breaker is fully automatic and managed by a PLC program that defines the length of the cuts. A significant advantage coming from the use of this equipment lays certainly in the cut of labour cost spent in oxyfuel cutting and therefore a further advantage comes from the optimisation of processing times. Furthermore, it is important to recall the saving related to wear and damages as compared to non dedicated equipment which are employed for this kind of work.

Zato’s pulverisers are capable to carry out different kinds of job. The Pelican fixed pulveriser thanks to its high versatility and to its production capabilities is capable to demolish the vertical reinforced concrete structure and to crush the already demolished material on ground, separating immediately the reinforcing steel from the concrete; starting immediately the reuse process of both materials. The design of this machine was specifically developed for increase its performance: it is equipped with a fully modular inlet with interchangeable toothed plates for ensuring a new crushing surface in a moment, optimising the working times.

The Predator rotating pulveriser is the best solution for executing with great versatility and production capability multiple types of work. Predator removes the distinction between primary and secondary demolition equipment , allowing the demolition of the vertical reinforced steel structure and the secondary demolition of the already demolished material. In this way, the reinforcing steel and the concrete are immediately separated and the disposing and recycling stages of both materials is started.

The Galileo series crushers, are the ideal solution for primary demolition works of reinforced steel and are equipped with  360° hydraulic rotation as standard. Upon request from the Customer, for meeting his requirements, Zato is capable to supply free rotation crushers. These crushers allow a quick positioning and are made of tough and durable materials. Thanks to their twin cylinders, fully protected, they are cable to access in any space with ease and to perform any task without any damage. They are crushers equipped with huge openings with wide blades for cutting the reinforcing steel and with a high force that allows the demolition of even the most solid structures.
