The Ziath DataPaq Cube Rack Reader is a 2D datamatrix tube camera reader with a scan & decode time of 1-2 seconds on a `normal` computer. The Cube can read all racks on the market including Cryoboxes and SBS racks; even 384 racks. The DP5 Cube 2D reader is easy to set-up, and can be ready to use only a few minutes after taking it out of the box. The rack reader arrives fully calibrated and is ready to read all makes of SBS format and Cryobox 2D barcoded racks and tubes. Our patented DataPaq™ Cube is a camera-based instrument and is significantly quicker than scanner-based 2D barcode readers: just one second and you can load the next rack! Our DataPaq™ software makes it simple to export data to Excel, XML or text, and scanned images can also be saved. The DataPaq™ software can connect with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres and other databases.

NMR is now an established and vital part of determining the structure of novel compounds in both Pharma and Agri-bio. The task of keeping track of large numbers of similar-looking NMR tubes is now easier as manufacturers now produce NMR tubes with 2D barcodes on their caps, allowing easy identification and tracking of individual tubes. However, due to the barcodes being placed on the top of the tubes, these can be difficult to read with a conventional scanner designed to read from underneath.

Ziath’s Uno and DataPaq Single-Tube Readers scan single all 2D datamatrix barcoded tubes. Simply hold the tube to the large scanner window and the code is instantly displayed, or in keyboard wedge mode the code is added directly into your application. The scanner window is mineral glass, to prevent scratching and extending the instrument lifetime.

Ziath’s range of CryzoTraq™ cryogenic vials are designed for cryogenic storage of biological specimens at temperatures as low as -196°C. The range features outstanding leak resistance with a LDPE compression ring moulded into the screw cap. For information on the tests performed to ensure leak-free tubes, download our white paper. The tubes are available in 2ml or 5ml volumes with an internally or externally threaded cap.

The CryzoTraq™ range includes polycarbonate boxes for storage of the CryzoTraq™ tubes. They are available in 81 or 100 place boxes. These durable cryogenic storage boxes are designed to be used at temperatures between -196°C and +121°C (i.e. suitable for autoclaving). A transparent cover with numbering allows the user to see the contents of the box, and is keyed to the base to prevent misalignment. The 81 place has a coloured grid, whilst the 100 place box has a pegged base to maximise space. Four colours are available: blue, red, green and yellow.
