ZRF Ritec - Slim Spectrometric Detection Probes for Gamma-ray Detection in Narrow Locations
ZRF Ritec SIA offers Slim Spectrometric Detection Probes, particularly designed for gamma-ray detection in confined spaces. This product line includes the SDP 311 and SDP 311/C models. The SDP 311 features a CdZnTe quasi-hemispherical detector, while the SDP 311/C incorporates a CdTe or CdZnTe planar counting grade detector. Enclosed in a thin rectangular case, these probes integrate a detector and charge sensitive preamplifier. With a minimal thickness of just 4 mm, the SDP 311 is tailored for applications where space is restrictive, making it suitable as a single element in multi-element detector arrays. The probes support high voltages up to 600 V with positive or negative polarization and offer energy resolutions at 662 keV ranging from 10 to 22 keV, dependent on detector volume. Specifications also include an operation temperature range of 0 to 40 °C a peak position shift of less than 0.02%per °C, and a signal rise time under 150 ns.Power demand is +12 V, 12 mA and -12 V, 8 mA.
ZRF Ritec - Miniature Spectrometric Detection Probe
The Spectrometric Detection Probe SDP 310/Z is a miniature gamma-ray detection device consisting of removable probe and attached cable with connectors. Removable probe contains a single CdZnTe quasi-hemispherical detector and charge sensitive preamplifier placed inside a watertight cylindrical case hermetically connected to a cable. There are few modifications of SDP 310 probes, which differ in used detectors size, spectroscopy performance, cable length and connectors type. These probes have been designed for application in difficult of access places, like fuel rods inside of a fuel assembly or nuclear spent fuel in underwater storing.
ZRF Ritec - Subminiature Spectrometric Detection Probe
The Spectrometric Detection Probe SDP 313 is a subminiature gamma-ray detection device consisting of removable probe and attached cable with connectors. Removable probe contains a single small size CdZnTe quasi-hemispherical detector and charge sensitive preamplifier placed in a watertight housing connected to a cable. Modifications of SDP 313 probes, which differ in used detectors sizes, spectroscopy performance, cable length and connectors types are available. These probes have been designed for application in difficult of access places. The main feature of this probe is a very small external diameter, 6 mm only.
CdZnTe Detectors
ZRF Ritec - CdZnTe Large Volume Spectroscopy Detecto
The CZT/500 and CZT/1500 are room temperature gamma-radiation spectroscopy detectors. The basic advantage of this detector is a large sensitive volume of 0.5 cm3 for CZT/500 and of 1.5 cm3 for CZT/1500. These detectors can be used with miniature low noise charge sensitive preamplifier PA101C or PA101C/HV. Application of the other preamplifiers is possible too. These detectors have been designed for application in portable spectrometers for different applications. Due do the high spectroscopy performance these detectors can be used for nuclide identification.

Ritec - Charge-Sensitive Preamplifiers for Gamma Spectroscopy
The PA 101C and PA 101C/HV are miniature, low noise, charge-sensitive preamplifiers specifically designed for gamma spectroscopy applications. These devices are optimized for use with semiconductor detectors such as CdTe, CdZnTe, and HgI2 at room temperature. They offer outstanding noise performance, achieving less than 2 keV of noise with zero input capacitance at a 1 µs shaping time. This makes them suitable for pairing with large volume CdZnTe detectors like the CZT/500 and CZT/1500. The preamplifiers integrate bias filtering and protect the input circuit, ensuring reliability under varied conditions. They provide a charge sensitivity of at least 0.2 mV/keV and maintain integral nonlinearity within 0.1% across an energy range from 60 keV to 1.33 MeV. The gain stability is high, with temperature variance limited to ±0.025%/°C within the 0 to +50°C range. Key features include rapid rise time, with capabilities under 100 ns for systems with minimal input capacitance, an output swing range of ±1 V, and effective cabling up to 30 meters.
