A*=Accuracy, CV*=Coefficient of VariationAn Economical, Versatile Wiping-Seal Dispenser. The seripettor® pro is a bottletop dispenser designed to handle a wider range of liquids than the regular seripettor® for customers who do not require all of the features of the Dispensette®. Like the regular seripettor®, it features an easily-replaceable wiping seal dispensing cartridge, making it especially suitable for liquids that tend to form crystals. • Replaceable Dispensing Cartridge: Quick-change cartridge makes service a breeze and keeps life-time service costs low. If wiping seals wear out, or are damaged by crystallizing reagents, just change the inexpensive cartridge, and you’re back in business• Protects Light-sensitive Reagents: Pump assembly with Hastalloy stainless steel spring. An opaque upper sleeve helps protect liquid from UV-light during dispensing operations, while permitting observation of cylinder to confirm purging of bubbles. • Wide Chemical Range: Valves and seals on the seripettor® pro allow a broader range of liquids to be dispensed than the regular seripettor®. • Telescoping Filling Tube: Adjusts to fit many bottles without cutting.• Threaded Safety Cap: Attaches and removes with a quick twist.• Spring-loaded Piston: Permits one-handed, semi-automatic operation.[1] Dispensing cartridge, non-sterile [2] Flexible discharge tube[3] Telescoping filling tubes, FEP Telescoping filling tubes, 2011 FEP [Photo 3] Length, mm (inches) Cat. Always follow instructions in the operating manual of the instrument as well as the reagent manufacturer‘s specifications. In addition to these chemicals, a variety of organic and inorganic saline solutions (e.g., biological buffers), biological detergents and media for cell culture can be dispensed. Should you require information on chemicals not listed, please feel free to contact BrandTech. Status as of: May 2010/6.NOTE: The seripettor® and seripettor® pro bottletop dispensers cannot be used with hydrofluoric acid (HF). See page 34 of the BrandTech 2011/2012 catalog for descriptions of the Dispensette® HF and Dispensette® TA dispensers which are the only Dispensette® dispensers designed for use with HF.For the most current version of this chart, visit our website www.brandtech.com.Areas of application / Chemical selection list (as of May 2010)? seripettor® economy dispenser ? seripettor® pro economy dispenserReagent seripettor® seripettor pro® Reagent seripettor® seripettor pro® Acetaldehyde +Acetic acid (glacial), 100% +Acetic acid, 5% + +Acetic acid, 96% +Acetone +Acetonitrile +Acetophenone +Acetylacetone + +Acrylic acid +Acrylonitrile +Adipic acid + +Agar (60°C) +Allyl alcohol + +Aluminium chloride + +Amino acids + +Ammonium chloride + +Ammonium fluoride + +Ammonium hydroxide, Ammonia 30% + +Ammonium sulfate + +Amyl alcohol (Pentanol) + +n-Amyl acetate +Aniline +Barium chloride + +Benzaldehyde +Benzyl alcohol +Benzylamine +Benzylchloride +Boric acid, 10% + +Butanediol + +1-Butanol +Butylamine +n-Butyl acetate +Calcium carbonate + +Calcium chloride + +Calcium hydroxide + +Calcium hypochlorite + +Chloroacetaldehyde, 45% +Chloroacetic acid +Chromic acid, 50% +Copper sulfate + +Cumene (Isopropyl benzene) +Diethylene glycol + +Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) +Dimethylaniline +Essential oil +Ethanol + +Ethyl methyl ketone + +Formaldehyde, 40% + +Formamide + + Formic acid, 100% +Glycerol + +Glycol (Ethylene glycol) + +Glycolic acid, 50% + +Hexanoic acid + +Hexanol +Hydriodic acid + +Hydrobromic acid +Hydrochloric acid, 37% +Hydrogen peroxide, 35% +Isoamyl alcohol +Isobutanol (Isobutyl alcohol) + +Isopropanol (2-Propanol) + +Lactic acid + +Methanol + +Methyl benzoate +Methyl propyl ketone +Mineral oil (Engine oil) +Monochloroacetic acid +Nitric acid, 10% +Oxalic acid + +Perchloric acid +Phenol +Phosphoric acid, 85% +Piperidine +Potassium chloride + +Potassium dichromate + +Potassium hydroxide + +Potassium hydroxide in ethanol + +Potassium permanganate + +Propionic acid + +Propylene glycol (Propanediol) + +Pyridine +Pyruvic acid + +Salicylaldehyde +Salicylic acid + +Silver acetate + +Silver nitrate + +Sodium acetate + +Sodium chloride + +Sodium dichromate + +Sodium fluoride + +Sodium hydroxide, 30% + +Sodium hypochlorite + +Sulfuric acid, 10% + +Tartaric acid +Urea + +Zinc chloride, 10% + +Zinc sulfate, 10% + +
