4 Oil Cooled Motors Manual

ZDS submersible motors, cooled by special food grade lubricant, suitable for 4” wells or larger. All motors are manufactured to ISO 9001 standards. As of 2010, all ZDS single-phase motors come with built-in thermal protection which stops the motor if overheated. If the motor gets too warm or is not being cooled appropriately (usually because it is buried in mud or sand), the thermal protection system will automatically stop the motor to prevent the pump from burning out. To our knowledge, ZDS is the only 4” submersible motor manufacturer to include this unique protection in all motors.
