These units are constructed of 316 stainless steel with an optional heating/cooling jacket for filtration up to 30 PSIG. The 1S is an all stainless steel unit and accommodates the smallest filter media available for a laboratory size filter. The 1S is a single stage small volume process development filter that allows easy pad change over in the minimum of time. The 1S simulates a vertical plate and frame filter press for direct scale-up to production.Small constant flow pumps, compressed air or inert gas can be used to flow liquid through the filter media.
