All telecomspecific analyses comply with the interna-tional standards of ITU-T, ETSI, IEEE andTIA.The system includes a dual channelsignal generator and a dual channelanalyzer. In combination with measure-ment frontends a wide range of singlecomponents, complete terminals andtransmission networks can be analyzedvia fully synchronized digital in- andoutputs.A variety of options allows the indivi-dual tailoring of the software to specificfields of application which may range fromthe evaluation of frequency responses topsychacoustic models and speech qualityanalysis systems.DESCRIPTIONACQUA is a software package for Win-dows® XP / Windows® 7 for speech qualitymeasurements and analyses of components,terminals and networks. It allows the genera-tion, modification and conduction ofmeasurement sequences as well as the analy-sis, documentation and archiving of measure-ment data in the time and frequency domain.ACQUA makes use of user-definable stan-dards or standards based on national andinternational telecommunication authoritiessuch as ETSI, ITU, TIA, 3GPP, GCF, PTCRB.These standards consist of various measure-ment descriptors (SMDs) which are combinedto measurement sequences and which deter-mine how the measurement data are capturedand analyzed in the time and frequency do-main.The user can view the settings of the mea-surement descriptors in a clearly structured andcomprehensible form.
