Adedge Technologies AD-74 is a broad-spectrum metal oxide-based granular adsorptive media for reducing contaminants from aqueous streams such as drinking and process waters. This particular product from Adedge is an activated alumina that exhibits performance over a wide range of elements including fluoride, arsenic (V), lead, copper, and other metals. The AD-74 adsorbent is well suited for use in potable water, industrial process streams, and groundwater remediation projects. It has been employed successfully in household and commercial Point-ofEntry (POE) systems utilizing conventional fiberglass tanks or larger pressure-vessels. Regeneration options are available if desired based on the application. However, for most applications, it is economical to replace the spent media with fresh media. Spent media can typically be discarded as non-hazardous solid waste.
