ADVANCED GEOPHYSICAL OPERATIONS AND SERVICES INC. IMVP 8-CHANNEL INDUCED POLARIZATION RECEIVER APPLICATION: 8-Channel multifunctional geophysical receiver IMVP is designed to c a r r y - o u t s u r v e y s b y me t h o d s o f Induced Polarization (IP) in frequency a n d /or time d o m a i n , direct current ( impedance) method, frequency sounding method and differential-normed electroprospecting method. FEATURES: Receiver IMVP acquires data with 8 detector lines MN, where the M-electrode of one detector line can be the N-electrode of the other. All lines can be joined in one 8-channel cable or 2 cables in fours. Receiver and data acquisition are controlled via PC. We recommend using a field-type notebook PANASONIC C F -18 or CF-29 series. Connection with PC is performed through the USB-port. ADVANTAGES: Multifunctional receiver IMVP increases productivity, reduces survey costs and expands capabilities of the induced polarization method. It is achieved by 24-bit ADC’s on each channel, 2500Hz sampling rate and ability to apply a wide range of algorithms for studying time-frequency response of the induced polarization process. IMVP is compact, lightweight, independent, multichannel and highly accurate. Time-and-frequency response acquired with IMVP receiver using IP method allows to identify different types of rocks and ore minerals.
