Air Dispersion Modelling
Our airsheds are becoming increasingly stresseddue to urbanization and economic growth. Oneconsequence is that industrial clients are constantlychallenged to address the impacts of theiroperations. This often means achieving the delicatebalance between operational economics andregulatory requirements. Dillon's expertise in airdispersion modelling is often employed to addressthese issues.Air dispersion modelling has been used to assistclients in determining ground-level concentrationsfrom stack emission data as part of their processfor meeting regulatory requirements for ambientair quality. If process modifications are beingcontemplated, we can determine if these changeswill comply with regulatory requirements. As well, this information can be used to determine whattype of plant modification and/or air emissionabatement strategy is economically viable.Provincially approved dispersion models and theU.S. Environmental Protection Agency’sUNAMAP series of dispersion models,(particularly the Industrial Source Complex 3[ISC3] model, ISC-PRIME and the ISC-AERMOD models) are employed.CONSULTINGDILLON AIR DISPERSION MODELLINGOur dispersion modelling services have been usedfor automotive assembly and casting plants, automotive painting operations, chemicalproduction industries, sand and gravel processingsites and stone quarries, scrap metal recyclingfacilities, metal production and metal refineries, food and grain processing plants, and municipalwaste treatment facilities.By utilizing our expertise in air dispersionmodelling, clients are achieving their business goalswithin the environmental performanceexpectations of our modern society.222222222222222222OdourOdourOdourOdourOdourOdourOdourOdourOdourSourceSourceSourceSourceSourceSourceSourceSourceSourceDAWSONRDNDUGALD RDREGENTAV WARCHIBALDSTFERMOR AVCity of Winnipeg ZoningAgricultural DistrictBoulevard Provencher DistrictCommercial DistrictIndustrial DistrictMultiple-Family DistrictOffice and Institutional DistrictParks and Recreation DistrictSingle-Family DistrictTransitional DistrictTwo-Family DistrictFuture Scrubber Impingement Zone *Isopleth - 2 odour unitsOdour SourceOdour isopleths displayed on City of Winnipeg map.
