We have assisted clients in the solid waste, industrial, pharmaceutical, and chemical process industries. Our range of clients includes iron and steel, printing, petroleum refining, utilities, petro-chemicals, food manufacturing, surface coating, synthetic organic chemicals, synthetic rubber, and other chemical process sectors.The company’s air quality services personnel include a di-verse mix of mechanical, chemical, civil, and environmental engineers, working alongside air pollution specialists with a depth of experience in all areas of air quality services. Many of our engineers have worked in industrial plants and have extensive hands-on experience in examining production processes from the perspective of emissions and byprod-ucts.As part of our air quality services, Cornerstone serves carbon trading markets by representing biogas owners selling greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction credits produced when methane in the biogas is destroyed or used in a ben-eficial way. Examples include fueling an electrical genera-tion facility, powering a factory, or heating a greenhouse. Cornerstone serves as a key partner in several collaborative projects between landfills, energy developers, and the carbon emissions trading market. A few recent examples of our air quality services assignments include:Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (OH) – Title V, NSPS, and NESHAPs compliance reporting and assistance, multi-fa-cility carbon footprint analyses, carbon credit calculations/assistance, synthetic minor permit to install application (avoiding PSD major source status), permit revocations and Title V permit application.Ohio Facilities – Comprehensive air compliance services are provided at 21 Ohio facilities. Services include PSD/NNSR, Title V, NSPS, NESHAPs, and Ohio specific permitting/routine compliance.Republic Services, Inc. (various states) – Assisted with deter-mining the air compliance status of more than 250 facilities in 21 states. Analyses included emission unit inventories, individual state research and final reports, and findings pro-vided in a master electronic dataset.US Energy to Biogas Energy Solutions, LLC (IL) – PSD/NNSR facility planning evaluations for two independent alternative energy facilities. Evaluation included baseline emission unit inventories, comparative analyses of multiple power genera-tion methods/alternatives, long-term emissions predictions and a condensed version of the PSD/NNSR requirements.USEPA contractor (AZ) – Subcontractor on contract for oversight of a remediation effort for a large industrial facility.
