Floodtite Airbrick Cover The following items are included with your Floodtite Airbrick Cover and will be required for fitting: Single Airbrick Cover: 2 anchor plugs; 2 T-handle screws; 2 anti-loss washers (to keep T-handle screws attached to Airbrick Cover) Double Airbrick Cover: 4 anchor plugs; 4 T-handle screws; 4 anti-loss washers Please check you have received these items and phone 0208 442 0872 with any discrepancies. Tool requirements • Power drill; 7mm masonry Bit; Hammer; 4mm Parallel Pin Punch (or Phillips screwdriver). Fitting the wall fixings • Using the airbrick cover as a template, mark securing holes on the brickwork. • Drill each hole to a depth of 25mm using a 7mm masonry Bit. • Insert anchor plug (supplied) into each hole until flush with brickwork. • Place a 4mm parallel pin punch (or similar size Phillips screwdriver) inside anchor plug and strike with a hammer to push the centre wedge into a lock position. • Attach the T-handle screws (supplied) to the Cover and secure with anti-loss washers (supplied). • Position T-handle screws into the anchor plugs to check fitting. It is a good idea to practise installing the Airbrick Cover on a calm dry day to ensure you are familiar with its use, so that when you install it for a flood it is not your first time doing so. • Remove Airbrick Cover and store, with T-handle screws and anti-loss washers attached, in a cool dry place that is easily accessible in case of flood alert Fitting the Airbrick Cover – IN TIME OF FLOOD ALERT • Refer to accompanying laminated instructions and keep those instructions with the product.
