WHAT IS PIPELINE PIGGING?

Pipeline pigging is a process of using a device called a pipeline pig to remove debris, liquids, or other unwanted materials from the inside of a pipeline. The pig is inserted into the pipeline and propelled with the flow of product, effectively cleaning the interior surface as it moves through the pipeline.
