The works building is located in the development in a very nicely designed building that fits into the surroundings. This facility is secure, totally enclosed and safe. The process consists of a primary RBC with post denitrification, final clarifier and effluent wet well. The discharge is to a reduced size subsurface absorption component (tile field). The total effluent nitrogen levels are designed for less than 10 mg/L. The nitrates are liberated as nitrogen gas in the anoxic stage of the RBC. The township has agreed to assume the treatment plant after two years of operation.
