Ourcustomers told us exactly what they’relooking for in a gas monitoring solution:reliability, simplicity, ease of use. Thenew iSeries platform delivers on allcounts - and then goes a step farther.A core product in Thermo’s new iSeriesproduct line is the Model 43i SO2 analyzer. Using pulsed fluorescence technology, the Model 43i measures the amount ofsulfur dioxide in the air up to 10ppm. Thepulsing of the U.V. source lamp serves toincrease the optical intensity whereby agreater U.V. energy throughput and lowerdetectable SO2 concentration are realized.Reflective bandpass filters, as comparedto commonly used transmission filters, areless subject to photochemical degradation and more selective in wavelength isola-tion. This results in both increased detec-tion specificity and long term stability. This state-of-the-art gas analyzer offersfeatures such as an ethernet port as wellas flash memory for increased data stor-age. Ethernet connectivity provides efficientremote access, allowing the user to down-load measurement information directlyfrom the instrument without having to beon-site.You can easily program soft-keys toallow you to jump directly to frequentlyaccessed functions, menus or screens Thelarger interface screen can display up tofive lines of measurement informationwhile primary screen remains visible.
