The pipe or pump flange sensor shall be of a high frequency capacitance technology to monitor for the dielectric change between the liquid and air (dry condition). A 2-conductor shielded cable will run from the sensor to the control unit that can be mounted up to 1 km distance. The sensing flange shall be inserted between two wafer flanges. The sensor will be of PVC construction.
