Non-return or pressure-relief dampers are gravity-operated damper. Widely used to regulate the pressure in the ductwork system. The opening pressure can be adjusted by changing the position of the counterweight. The pressure relief damper is often used as a vacuum break damper which opens to relieve excessive negative pressure inside the duct.
