Basket screens are quite simple and low-cost equipment, often used in small-scale treatment plants. Basket screens are used as pre-treatment to protect the equipment behind the line against possible damage and increase the efficiency of the treatment process.  This type of screens are connected to the guide rails on the wall. One side of the basket screen is used as the “water inlet hole”. It can be lifted by a rope system to be cleaned. Due to this feature, basket grids can be easily used in deep structures.
