The company is accredited (as a Type 'A' body) by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to the International Standard ISO 17020 (formerly BS EN 45004) for the In-Service Statutory Inspection of lifts, cranes and lifting equipment, boilers and pressure systems and local exhaust ventilation systems. We carry out these inspections under: • LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) • PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998) on all types of lifting equipment including: • Passenger lifts • Cranes (workshop and mobile) • Excavators and JCBs • Forklifts • Vehicle hoists • lifting accessories (tackle) e.g. eye bolts, slings, shackles We inspect pressure systems under: • PSSR (Pressure System Safety Regulations 2000) This includes: • Steam and high temperature hot water boilers • Air receivers (compressed air systems) • Buffer tanks and surge vessels • Gas storage vessels.
