atlaSORB is Atlas Carbon’s newest sorbent product designed specifically for the removal of mercury from coal-fired utility flue gas streams. It reacts chemically with both elemental and oxidized mercury to create a non-hazardous, non-flammable, and non-corrosive solid compound that can be captured by the plant’s particulate control system.
