A suitably qualified operator can only use Strimech attachments.2. The operator and owner are responsible for ensuring the attachment is correctly matched to the lift capacity of the machine it is fitted to. The attachment weight when full to its design capacity does not exceed the machine lift capacity. Reference should be made to the machine handbook and load chart for this information; the machine manufacturer supplies the handbook and load chart.3. The Strimech attachment must be correctly coupled to the machine using the attachment brackets fitted to the attachment. It is the owner and operators responsibility to ensure the attachment is fitted securely and the machine/attachment interface (e.g. carriage, 3 point linkage or loader arms) and locking system are in safe working order.4. The area between the Strimech attachment and machine is a crush zone. It is vital that people, animals or any equipment is excluded from this crush zone at all times. The length of the machine is increased when fitted with the Strimech attachment; care should be taken to allow for the increase in length when operating the machine. Visibility must be maintained at all times, ensure the Strimech attachment is positioned so not to restrict visibility.5. It is the operator and machine owner's responsibility to ensure the current road traffic act is complied with before taking the machine fitted with the Strimech attachment on the public highway. Failure to comply with the road traffic act will endanger people, animals and property and could result in criminal prosecution and subsequent imprisonment.6. The use of non-Strimech parts will leave the operator and owner responsible for subsequent claims from third parties in the event of a failure. Hydraulic equipment (when fitted)1. Hydraulic hose and connectors connecting the attachment to the machine should meet the specification of the machine's hydraulic system. Refer to machine handbook for specification details.2. Check condition of all hoses and couplings. Any hoses or couplings showing signs of wear or leakage should be replaced immediately. Contact Strimech for genuine replacement parts.3. The attachment must be safely parked on the ground before commencing work on the hydraulic equipment.4. The hydraulic connection to the operating machine should be disconnected before working on the hydraulic equipment. First release the hydraulic pressure from the attachment hydraulic system. Switch off the engine of the operating machine and disconnect the hydraulic hoses. Work can now commence on the hydraulic system.5. When reconnecting the hydraulic hoses to the machine ensure the pressure is released.6. Hydraulic oil under pressure is dangerous, care should be taken not to contact hydraulic oil with the skin.
